The second is to surround himself with people who are smarter and more talented than him at all times. Why?  Scott explains, "I love helping other people succeed and do well in business, and the only way I can do that is to blend my talents with the talents and skills of others. There's no way I can provide anywhere near the value necessary to a business owner if I wasn't collaborating with people smarter than me.
